Infinite Gumption

You Have It

Yes, you. You have the guts to do anything.

See It

Open your eyes. See it.

Believe It

Close your eyes. Believe it.

Feel It

Now, feel it.

The Tenets of Infinite Gumption and NeverBroken You

  • There is light in you - always.

  • You are only broken if you buy into it/believe it.

  • You always belong somewhere - even if you cannot see it.

  • You are never alone (even when you think you are).

  • There is always hope.

  • We are all in this together.

  • Power as one, together unstoppable.

  • Inner strength is there...it just needs tapping into.

  • It is okay to fall apart - you are not broken, let go.

  • Your wounds will heal.

  • Your flaws are not you - just a part, and an important part.

  • Your mistakes do not make you - they hurt and can harden, but they are over and done; you got through, now move on.

  •  We can choose what rules our minds, but how? accessible visualizations - in-sights.

Now let’s do this.

People always told me, the sky is the limit. Dreams can be as big as you want them to be...but then come back down to the ground. As I’ve grown, I’ve had reality set in, not just through bills and responsibilities, but through the voice in my head that now parrots "you cannot." Other people do great things. Instead, you get a real job. Go to college. Have a safety net. Work hard to get anything worth having.

There is truth to some of this theory. But my argument now is just don't believe it all. Don't let it, as I did, be the broken record in your head that always reprises when you are about to touch gold. Not many are handed their success outright. The same goes for money, fame, and direction. Decisions must be made and we must live with them. But it is never too late. Whether you are starting at the beginning of your life, nearing the end, or are somewhere in the middle, it is never too late to discover your purpose and passion, and fulfill it. If you're like me, you may start out going at this alone, fighting off the demons in your head with a flimsy stick. Or you may have a family or team of advocates. Use them. And if you don’t have them, I am here to say, you are never alone. Now you have me in your corner. If you need one, I'll gladly be your cheerleader.

In this pursuit, one thing to realize is that you can define who you are and what you want. Only you can figure it out and decide. And only you can choose to see this dream succeed or fail, no matter how big or how small. Everything has a purpose in our lives. And we are the reason.

The biggest lesson I want you to take away, if you learn nothing else from me and this hefty project, is that we are who we define. The sky is not the limit. There are no limits. There are only the ones we decide to believe in or place. That is not to say I could or would have been an Olympic athlete. But that was, and still is, for ME to decide. Thus in regard to overcoming hardship, we are only broken if we believe we are. We are in darkness as long as we decide. The point is, WE have the power. We are our own suns. So why not shine?
